We are recruiting a motivated SEN TA to work in a friendly school in Barking. This SEN TA role begins in January 2026, with pre-start induction and training carried out before January 2026 to ensure the SEN TA is fully prepared.

The SEN TA will provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support, assist pupils in accessing their learning and promote positive behaviour. As a SEN TA in Barking, you will help pupils build confidence, independence and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured support sessions
• Assist pupils with learning tasks and routines
• Support emotional and behavioural development
• Track pupil progress and maintain records
• Work collaboratively with staff and families in Barking

Requirements

• Experience working as a SEN TA or in a similar role
• Calm, caring and adaptable approach
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Must be available for January 2026
