DT Teacher – Leicester – January 2026

Are you a creative and driven DT Teacher ready to take your first teaching step? A forward-thinking school in Leicester is looking for a Design & Technology Teacher to join their outstanding DT department.

About the Role:
This full-time, permanent position begins January 2026. You will deliver DT to KS3–4 students, focusing on hands-on practical learning, creativity, design thinking and technological skills.

The school prides itself on its excellent behaviour, inclusive values and strong staff support. Their DT department is newly equipped, modern and supported by experienced technicians. The school invests heavily in CPD and offers outstanding ECT mentoring.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a DT/Engineering degree
• Holds QTS/PGCE or is an ECT in training
• Can teach DT effectively at KS3–4
• Is hardworking, creative and enthusiastic
• Works collaboratively within the DT team
