The Opportunity & Role Profile

This successful secondary school is seeking a proactive Science Technician to focus on supporting the practical delivery of science. The role ensures that teachers and students have access to well-maintained and safely prepared equipment for effective learning in all science subjects.

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Daily Preparation: Setting up apparatus for planned lessons, ensuring quantities and concentrations are correct.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Performing routine checks, cleaning glassware, and carrying out minor repairs on common laboratory equipment.
  • Safety & Compliance: Assisting the Senior Technician with routine H&S audits of labs and preparation rooms.
