A welcoming and inclusive 11–16 school in Wigan is seeking an inspiring Teacher of Religious Education to join its Humanities department from January 2026.

The Role
You’ll teach RE across KS3–KS4, using an enquiry-based approach that helps students explore ethical, philosophical and global religious questions. The school uses well-sequenced knowledge organisers and retrieval routines to build long-term understanding.
The department also leads assemblies, charity projects and values-based events, which new staff are encouraged to take part in.
