A high-performing girls’ secondary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a committed PE ECT to join their thriving PE Department.

About the School

The school has a strong reputation for promoting health, wellbeing, and academic excellence. New teachers receive outstanding support through coaching, lesson observation cycles, and tailored training sessions.

About the PE Department

The PE Department offers a diverse curriculum including netball, athletics, fitness, gymnastics, dance, and outdoor activities. Facilities include a sports hall, dance studio, courts, and access to local sports venues. The department is vibrant, energetic, and highly supportive of ECTs.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3–KS4, including both practical and theory lessons.

  • Support school sports fixtures, clubs, and extracurricular events.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and student wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Training towards QTS with completion by January 2026.

  • Strong sporting background and enthusiasm for physical education.

  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
