We are seeking an ambitious, creative and highly motivated Design Technology ECT to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified DT Teacher looking to begin their career within a supportive, well-resourced and forward-thinking environment.
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging, practical and technically rich lessons across KS3, KS4 and—where appropriate—KS5, helping students to develop strong workshop skills, design thinking and problem-solving ability. The department benefits from modern workshops, CAD/CAM facilities, specialist tools and full technician support.

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Design Technology or related discipline
PGCE with QTS
Training to teach DT to KS3/4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong practical and workshop safety awareness
Enthusiasm for innovative, project-based learning
Salary
This role will be paid to scale in line with MPS1.
