DT Teacher – Birmingham
Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher looking to begin your teaching career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment? About the Role:
This position is full-time and permanent, starting January 2026. You will teach DT across Key Stages 3 and 4 and will have the opportunity to deliver a curriculum that includes product design, resistant materials and practical workshop skills. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage creativity, independence and problem-solving.

We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a DT, Engineering or related degree
• Holds QTS or is completing a PGCE with QTS
• Can deliver DT confidently to KS3 and KS4
• Brings creativity, strong practical skills and enthusiasm
• Is committed to high-quality teaching and learning
• Works collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive department
