Year 6 Teacher | Birmingham

An ambitious primary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to start in January 2026. This Year 6 Teacher role will include a detailed handover before January 2026, with the Year 6 Teacher fully starting duties in January 2026.

• Year 6 Teacher required for a full-time upper KS2 position
• Year 6 Teacher required to work within a successful primary school in Birmingham
• Year 6 Teacher to lead learning and prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations

The Year 6 Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-impact lessons, preparing pupils for SATs and supporting strong academic outcomes in Birmingham. The Year 6 Teacher will run booster sessions, lead small-group interventions and ensure pupils are confident and prepared for transition.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured Year 6 lessons
  • Plan and run SATs preparation sessions
  • Track pupil data and adapt teaching accordingly
  • Create a structured and calm learning environment
  • Communicate with families in Birmingham

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Strong experience in upper KS2
  • Data-driven and organised approach
  • Available to start January 2026
