Are you a nurturing and motivated Year 1 Teacher looking for a new opportunity? A well-regarded primary school in Newham is seeking an inspiring Year 1 Teacher to begin in January 2026.

This Year 1 Teacher role in Newham will start in January 2026, with thorough induction taking place before January 2026. The Year 1 Teacher will lead phonics instruction, develop early reading skills and build confident, independent learners.

As a Year 1 Teacher in Newham, you will plan structured lessons, lead daily phonics sessions and track development through ongoing assessment. The Year 1 Teacher will work closely with families in Newham and contribute to moderation processes.
