Year 4 Teacher | Wycombe

A thriving primary school in Wycombe is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to start in January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a Year 4 Teacher who is passionate about lower Key Stage 2 and delivering engaging, structured lessons. The appointed Year 4 Teacher will receive a full handover before January 2026 and will officially join the school in January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher will be fully supported throughout the transition into January 2026.

• Year 4 Teacher required for a full-time KS2 position
• Year 4 Teacher required to work within a supportive primary school in Wycombe
• Year 4 Teacher to join a successful and well-resourced KS2 department

The Year 4 Teacher will plan and deliver creative, well-sequenced lessons in English, Maths and the wider curriculum. The Year 4 Teacher will lead guided reading sessions, run small-group interventions and ensure pupils in Wycombe make strong academic progress. This Wycombe-based Year 4 Teacher role includes collaborative planning time and strong leadership support.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured Year 4 lessons that build knowledge and confidence
  • Assess and track pupil progress using formative and summative strategies
  • Run small-group support sessions to close learning gaps
  • Create a calm, engaging classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with families in Wycombe

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching KS2
  • Strong curriculum knowledge
  • Confident behaviour management
  • Available to start January 2026
