The Opportunity & Role Profile

This successful secondary school requires a skilled Science Technician to provide vital technical support across all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) up to A-Level. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and inspiring delivery of practical science lessons.

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Lab Preparer: Preparing apparatus, chemical solutions, and biological materials for daily practical lessons.
  • Safety Champion: Ensuring CLEAPSS compliance, managing chemical inventory, and maintaining a safe laboratory environment.
  • Resource Coordinator: Repairing equipment, managing stock, and ordering new supplies efficiently.
