Our client, a well-respected and community-focused 11–16 school in Lancashire, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths ECT to join their expanding Mathematics Faculty starting January 2026. The successful candidate will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering well-planned, engaging lessons that build student confidence in numeracy, problem-solving and mathematical reasoning. The school places a strong emphasis on developing early-career staff through structured mentoring, departmental collaboration and consistent access to professional development.

Experience & Qualifications

• PGCE/QTS (or soon to obtain QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Ability to use modelling and scaffolding effectively in lessons
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to contribute to Maths clubs and enrichment
