A popular secondary school in Trafford is seeking a Humanities ECT with a Psychology/Sociology focus from September 2026.

  • Humanities ECT (Psych/Soc) required from September 2026.
  • Manchester (Sale Moor Area) – Mainstream Secondary School.
  • Seeking a specialist interested in social sciences, behaviour, community and cultural studies.

You will teach a blend of KS3 Humanities and KS4 Psychology or Sociology, depending on timetabling.

Experience & Qualifications

  • QTS (or pending) essential.
  • Degree in a Humanities or Social Science subject.
  • Strong interest in pastoral care and community engagement.
  • Ability to develop enquiry-based learning.
