A respected boys’ comprehensive school in Wandsworth is looking to appoint a motivated Religious Studies Teacher for a January start.

About the RS Department

The RS Department is an intellectual, discussion-driven team that encourages philosophical thinking, ethical debate, and exploration of global belief systems. The department delivers RS at KS3 & KS4, with Philosophy & Ethics available at KS5.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver RS lessons across KS3–KS4.

  • Promote debate, critical thinking, and respectful dialogue.

  • Support departmental trips and faith-related enrichment.

Requirements

  • QTS and a degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, or related field.

  • Strong communication and discussion-facilitation skills.

  • Ability to engage boys with challenging ideas and concepts.
