Are you an ambitious Year 3 Teacher who enjoys delivering knowledge-rich lessons and building strong foundations in lower KS2? A forward-looking primary school in Wandsworth is recruiting a committed Year 3 Teacher to join the Key Stage 2 team from January 2026.

The Year 3 Teacher will plan coherent sequences that build vocabulary, comprehension and mathematical reasoning. The Year 3 Teacher will lead guided-reading and maths groups, design targeted interventions and contribute to year-group moderation. This Year 3 Teacher post in Wandsworth begins January 2026, and the successful Year 3 Teacher will be supported with induction and planning time ahead of January 2026 to ensure a confident spring-term start.

Role responsibilities

• Plan and deliver sequenced Year 3 lessons that secure knowledge, fluency and application.
• Lead small-group tuition, monitor impact and refine interventions to accelerate progress in Wandsworth.
• Collaborate with phase colleagues on moderation and curriculum development for Year 3.
• Differentiate effectively to meet a range of needs and promote independence in the classroom.
• Communicate progress to parents and contribute to reporting and review meetings.

Person specification

• Qualified teacher with strong KS2 practice and demonstrable Year 3 impact.
• Skilled at assessment-informed planning, guided reading and small-group teaching.
• Reflective, collaborative and committed to the Wandsworth school community; available to start January 2026.
