The Opportunity & School Profile

This selective Independent School, which includes a Sixth Form, requires an experienced Drama Teacher for a Temporary, Part-Time contract. The school needs an expert capable of leading performance and technical instruction, and driving high academic attainment in examination Drama from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level.

Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

  • Stage Director: Instructing Drama across Key Stage 3 up to Sixth Form (A-Level), proportionate to the teaching fraction.
  • Performance Coach: Cultivating expressive performance skills and complex textual analysis.
  • Production Assistant: Assisting with school productions and ensemble work.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Requirements: Relevant Degree in Drama/Theatre Studies and QTS. Experience teaching Drama to A-Level is essential.
  • Salary: Highly competitive pro-rata salary compensated on the school's independent pay scale, reflecting Inner London weighting.
