Are you an ambitious Year 3 Teacher who enjoys delivering ambitious, knowledge-rich lessons? A busy primary school in Newham is recruiting a committed Year 3 Teacher to join the Key Stage 2 team from January 2026.

The Year 3 Teacher will plan coherent sequences that build vocabulary, comprehension and mathematical reasoning. The Year 3 Teacher will run guided-reading and maths groups, design targeted interventions and contribute to year-group moderation. This Year 3 Teacher role in Newham begins January 2026, with induction and planning time provided prior to January 2026 so the Year 3 Teacher can be classroom-ready.

Role responsibilities

• Plan and deliver sequenced Year 3 lessons that secure knowledge and application.
• Lead small-group tuition and monitor its impact, adapting strategies to accelerate progress.
• Contribute to year-group planning, moderation and cross-curricular projects across Newham.
• Work with support staff to scaffold learning and to meet a range of learner needs.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and contribute to reporting and review meetings.

Person specification

• Qualified teacher with effective KS2 practice and demonstrable Year 3 impact.
• Strong subject knowledge, assessment awareness and confident classroom management.
• Reflective, collaborative and ready to start January 2026 in Newham.
