Attendance Officer – Wolverhampton, West Midlands – January 2026
A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a committed Attendance Officer to join the pastoral team from January 2026.
The Role
Working closely with pastoral leads and safeguarding staff, you will support the school’s attendance strategy by:
- Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality
- Making first-day absence calls and home visits (with pastoral support)
- Updating attendance on SIMS/Arbor
- Producing reports for Heads of Year and SLT
- Coordinating attendance meetings and improvement plans
- Working with external agencies when required
