A well-established secondary school in Buckingham is looking to appoint a Science Technician for a full-time, permanent role starting January 2026. You will support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across KS3, KS4, and KS5.

This mixed secondary school, rated ‘Outstanding’, educates around 1,300 students aged 11–18 and is known for its warm, community-driven ethos and strong academic outcomes. The location offers great transport links to Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Bicester, and surrounding towns.

The Science department benefits from modern laboratories, industry-standard equipment, prep rooms, and robust safety procedures. The Science Technician will ensure practical lessons are well-prepared, equipment is safely maintained, and stock levels are managed effectively.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous Science Technician or lab-based experience
  • Knowledge of lab safety and COSHH regulations
  • Science qualification preferred
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

This Science Technician post offers a competitive salary, paid on a direct contract.
