The UKS2 Teacher will deliver well-sequenced lessons across Years 5 and 6, lead targeted interventions, support transition planning and contribute to curriculum development. This UKS2 Teacher position in Slough blends classroom teaching with coordination of upper-KS2 priorities, and induction will be provided ahead of January 2026 to ensure the UKS2 Teacher is ready for the spring term.

Role responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ambitious UKS2 lessons that secure cumulative knowledge and application.
• Lead targeted small-group tuition and evaluate its impact on pupil progress.
• Coordinate transition work and produce detailed handover packs for secondary colleagues.
• Contribute to phase moderation, curriculum mapping and staff CPD across Slough.
• Communicate outcomes to parents and support enrichment activities in the upper phase.

Person specification

• Qualified teacher with demonstrated experience across upper Key Stage 2 and proven classroom impact.
• Strong assessment literacy, confident curriculum planning and effective behaviour strategies.
• Collaborative, proactive and committed to the Slough school community; available to start January 2026.
