A successful and community-oriented secondary school in Chester is seeking a committed Attendance Officer to support its pastoral and safeguarding teams from January 2026.
The Role
You will play a crucial role in improving attendance and supporting student welfare. Duties include:
- Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality
- Contacting parents and carers regarding absences
- Producing attendance data for pastoral teams and SLT
- Arranging attendance meetings and supporting intervention plans
- Working closely with safeguarding leads on welfare concerns
