Maths ECT to join a supportive and academically strong Maths Department

Our Client is seeking a Maths ECT for a well-organised and high-performing secondary school in Newcastle. The successful teacher will deliver Maths across KS3–KS4, using clear explanations, scaffolded tasks and strong modelling to secure excellent student progress.

School Information

This 11–18 school, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, serves approximately 1,300 pupils and is known for its excellent behaviour culture, strong academic outcomes and inclusive pastoral systems. The Maths department is collaborative, offering comprehensive resources, shared planning and structured support for new teachers.

Staff describe the school as calm, respectful and professional. The leadership team is approachable and development-oriented, offering a robust ECT induction, peer coaching and regular CPD.
