A leading independent 11–18 school in Lancashire is seeking a skilled Science Teacher to join their dynamic and well-resourced Science Faculty.

About the School

A prestigious independent school with excellent academic traditions, modern laboratories and a strong record of pupil achievement in STEM subjects. The department delivers IGCSE and A-Level Science with specialist teachers in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Staff benefit from supportive leadership, ongoing CPD and well-equipped facilities for practical and theory-based lessons.

The Role

• Teach engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3–KS5
• Deliver a specialism—Biology, Chemistry or Physics—at A-Level
• Prepare materials, experiments and demonstrations with technician support
• Track achievement using assessments, data and personalised feedback
• Contribute to STEM programmes, science competitions and enrichment events

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of practical and theoretical Science teaching
• Ability to teach one Science discipline to A-Level
• Commitment to inspiring learners and maintaining high academic standards
