A well-established independent 11–18 day school in Leeds is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their accomplished Mathematics Department.

About the School

A high-performing independent school known for small class sizes, excellent behaviour and a supportive teaching culture. The Maths department delivers a challenging curriculum including GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and Further Maths. Facilities include modern teaching rooms, digital learning tools and access to regular CPD and professional enrichment opportunities.

The Role

• Teach Mathematics across KS3–KS5 with a focus on stretch, challenge and inquiry
• Plan and deliver lessons that support independent learning and high achievement
• Track pupil progress through personalised feedback and detailed assessment
• Support co-curricular activities such as Maths Olympiads, clubs and competitions
• Work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum development and exam preparation

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum up to A-Level
• Ability to support high-achieving pupils in an academic independent school
• Commitment to maintaining excellent standards of learning and pastoral care
