A dynamic mixed 11–18 secondary school in Leeds is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving and well-resourced Science Faculty.

About the School

A Good school with well-equipped laboratories, a collaborative staff culture and a strong emphasis on practical, inquiry-based learning. The school offers Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-Level and provides ongoing CPD and departmental support. The Science Faculty is supported by experienced technicians and modern teaching infrastructure.

The Role

• Teach engaging Science lessons across KS3–KS4 with clarity and practical emphasis
• Deliver a specialism—Biology, Chemistry or Physics—at KS5
• Prepare lab materials, demonstrations and experiments with technician support
• Track progress using assessments, marking and data analysis
• Participate in STEM projects, enrichment activities and learning events

Requirements

• Strong command of Science curriculum and lab safety procedures
• Ability to manage practical lessons safely and effectively
• Passion for inspiring curiosity and scientific thinking
