An Outstanding mixed 11–18 secondary school in York is seeking an inspiring Maths Teacher to join their highly successful Mathematics Department.

About the School

The Maths department benefits from specialist teaching rooms, interactive whiteboards, well-developed schemes of work and consistently strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes in Mathematics and Further Mathematics.

The Role

• Teach high-quality Maths lessons across KS3–KS5 with clear progression
• Plan differentiated tasks and resources to challenge all learners
• Support high-attaining students with extension work and Olympiad preparation
• Monitor student progress through assessments, data tracking and reporting
• Contribute to enrichment activities including clubs, competitions and revision sessions

Requirements

• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching up to A-Level
• Understanding of effective pedagogy in Mathematics
• Ability to maintain high expectations and support students of all abilities
