Attendance Officer – Nuneaton, Warwickshire – January 2026
A popular and inclusive secondary school in Nuneaton is seeking a committed and resilient Attendance Officer to join the pastoral team from January 2026.
The Role
You will play a central role in promoting excellent attendance and safeguarding student welfare. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality
- Making first-day absence calls to parents
- Creating attendance reports for Heads of Year
- Working with families to address persistent absence
- Coordinating attendance meetings and intervention plans
- Liaising with safeguarding and external agencies
