Maths ECT to join a supportive and enthusiastic Mathematics department

Our Client is seeking a Maths ECT to teach KS3 and KS4 within a welcoming and well-structured secondary school in Bath. The role includes delivering high-quality Maths lessons, contributing to enrichment activities and developing strong classroom practice through continuous mentoring and training.

School Information

This 11–18 school educates just over 1,200 pupils and maintains strong progress figures in core subjects. The Mathematics department benefits from mastery-led teaching strategies, visual models, shared retrieval practice resources and curriculum plans that promote secure conceptual understanding.

ECTs are supported through weekly mentor meetings, professional inquiry sessions and a reduced timetable in their first year. Staff reference the school’s positive culture, collaborative ethos and strong pastoral systems. Leadership invests heavily in staff wellbeing and progression.
