A forward-thinking Mixed Secondary School in Merton is looking to appoint a passionate History Teacher this January. The school promotes global awareness, critical thinking and enquiry-led learning across the Humanities.

About the History Department
The department offers a broad curriculum, covering modern and medieval worlds, political revolutions and historical interpretation. Trips, workshops, and cross-curricular projects feature heavily throughout the year.

Key Duties
• Teach History across KS3–KS4
• Develop lessons rooted in evidence, investigation and debate
• Support coursework, assessments and revision sessions
• Take part in enrichment including museum visits & historical societies

Requirements
• QTS and degree in a Humanities discipline
• A passion for inclusive, engaging teaching
• Strong classroom presence and organisational skills
