About the English Department
The department is literature-focused, culturally rich and consistently achieves strong GCSE results. Students are encouraged to explore texts analytically, develop independent thought and apply critical writing effectively.

Role Overview
• Teach English across KS3–KS4
• Develop engaging lessons that inspire a love of reading and writing
• Support interventions and reading programmes where needed
• Contribute to curriculum planning across the team

Requirements
• QTS and strong subject knowledge
• Ability to raise attainment and support progress across abilities
• Passionate about fostering creativity, literacy and confidence
