PE ECT — Yorkshire

A well-resourced secondary school in Yorkshire is seeking a PE ECT to join its energetic and supportive PE department from January 2026.

PE ECT required from January 2026
Yorkshire-based school with strong extra-curricular sport provision.
Seeking an ECT capable of delivering KS3–KS4 PE, including GCSE PE theory lessons.

You will teach practical units, support student fitness assessments, and help run after-school sport clubs and fixtures.

Experience and Qualifications

  • PGCE/SCITT in PE with QTS (or pending).
  • Good understanding of GCSE PE theory content.
  • Ability to coach at least one major school sport.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to whole-school enrichment.

The PE department features large sports halls, outdoor pitches, fitness suites, and excellent community partnerships. The school offers structured ECT support and training.

  • Full ECF programme and reduced teaching load.
