Maths ECT — Leeds

A progressive secondary school in Leeds is seeking a committed Maths ECT to join a supportive and collaborative Mathematics department from January 2026.

Maths ECT required from January 2026
Leeds-based school focused on strengthening attainment in core subjects.
Seeking a passionate Maths specialist eager to teach KS3–KS4 and support stretch & challenge groups across the school.

You will deliver well-sequenced lessons, support intervention programmes, and contribute to ensuring secure mathematical understanding across the curriculum.

Experience and Qualifications

  • PGCE/SCITT graduate with QTS (or pending).
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach Maths up to Higher Tier GCSE.
  • Confident planning and delivering structured, engaging lessons.
  • Commitment to continued professional growth.

The Maths faculty is warm, supportive, and highly experienced in developing early-career teachers. You will receive weekly mentor meetings, reduced timetable, and personalised CPD focused on pedagogy and behaviour routines.
