About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Science Teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and engaging young people in scientific thinking. Responsibilities include:
• Teaching general Science at KS3–KS4, with KS5 available depending on experience
• Planning and delivering dynamic, practical and theory-based lessons
• Supporting students to develop core scientific skills, confidence and curiosity
• Contributing to the development of schemes of work, assessments and resources
• Participating in enrichment activities such as STEM clubs or field trips
• Working closely with colleagues to share good practice and raise attainment
• Providing pastoral support as part of the wider school community
The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs who are eager to grow within a supportive department.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in a Science-related field
• PGCE with QTS
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the secondary science curriculum
• Ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development
Salary
MPS/UPS depending on experience.
