About the School

About the History Department
The department delivers a stimulating curriculum with strong results at all key stages. Debate forums, museum visits and historical research projects feature prominently within enrichment.

The Role
• Teach History KS3–KS4 (A Level beneficial).
• Deliver lessons that develop critical thinking and contextual understanding.
• Support enrichment including talks, trips and History Week.
• Collaborate on curriculum planning and assessments.

Requirements
• QTS and specialist subject background.
• Ability to deliver engaging historical narratives and analysis.
• Drive to support whole-school improvement.
