Maths Teacher – Drive Numeracy and GCSE Attainment in High-Performing Faculty – Guernsey

This Secondary School is seeking an ambitious and rigorous Maths Teacher to join its high-performing faculty from January 2026, focusing on maximizing GCSE attainment and numeracy skills.

  • Maths Teacher required from January 2026.
  • Guernsey-based school (Channel Islands) with excellent facilities.
  • Seeking a dedicated teacher to drive GCSE and Functional Numeracy skills across KS3/4.

You will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with a primary focus on maximizing progress for all GCSE cohorts. The role includes opportunities to teach more advanced topics and contribute to intervention strategies designed to close attainment gaps.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Maths degree.
  • Proven track record of achieving high academic results in GCSE Mathematics.
  • Experience delivering a rigorous, skills-focused curriculum that builds deep conceptual understanding.
  • Strong commitment to promoting numeracy across the whole school.
