An academically ambitious and well-led 11–18 secondary school in Loughborough is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Teacher of History to join its Humanities team from January 2026.

The Role

You will teach History across KS3–KS4, with KS5 available for experienced candidates. The department has a reputation for high-quality written work, structured enquiry questions and excellent support for students aiming for top grades.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering clear, chronological and thematic teaching
  • Supporting exam preparation through modelling and scaffolded writing
