The Opportunity & Role Profile

This thriving primary academy is seeking a reliable Caretaker for a permanent, part-time morning shift. The role is vital in ensuring the site is safely opened, fully prepared for the school day, and that initial safety and heating checks are completed efficiently.

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Morning Starter: Responsible for opening the site, disarming alarms, and ensuring the premises are ready for staff and pupil arrival.
  • Daily Checks: Conducting essential health and safety checks, particularly relating to fire systems and external grounds safety.
  • Maintenance Planner: Reporting repair issues and completing light maintenance tasks during the morning hours.
