The Opportunity & Role Profile

This large secondary academy requires an energetic and experienced Caretaker to join its Premises team. You will be responsible for the security and upkeep of a key section of the school estate, ensuring that the learning environment is always clean, safe, and ready for use.

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Presentation Partner: Ensuring internal areas, external grounds, and teaching spaces are kept tidy, safe, and fit for use.
  • General Upkeep: Executing minor repairs, basic painting, and essential routine maintenance across the allocated zone.
  • Event Support: Assisting with the setup and dismantling of equipment for internal school events and functions.

  • Salary: Competitive salary paid on the local government scale, reflecting Outer London weighting.
