About the Role

You will teach DT across KS3–KS4, contributing to a department that embraces modern and traditional design processes. The curriculum encourages students to explore design thinking, model-making, CAD/CAM, and technical drawing, as well as practical workshop skills that support the GCSE DT specification.

Workshop facilities include:

• Fully serviced wood/metal workshops

• Electronic systems stations

• CAD labs

• 3D printers and laser cutters

The successful candidate will also be involved in supporting students with coursework, leading enrichment clubs, and encouraging students to take pride in producing high-quality finished products.

• DT degree or related qualification
