About the Role

You will teach Music KS3–KS4, working with a well-developed curriculum that balances performance, theory, composition, and musical literacy. Students experience a wide range of musical traditions, and teachers are encouraged to bring their own performance specialisms, instrumental knowledge, and creative ideas into the classroom.

The role includes opportunities to:

• Lead or support ensembles (choir, band, instrumental groups)

• Assist with seasonal concerts and events

• Contribute to the school’s developing music enrichment programme

• Integrate music technology into teaching (DAWs, keyboards, digital scoring tools)

Experience & Qualifications

• Music degree

• PGCE + QTS or completing training
