A welcoming mixed secondary academy in Croydon is looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Caretaker to support the maintenance and security of their school site.

Role Overview

You will assist with daily site operations, ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and secure. The role includes minor repairs, unlocking/locking duties, and responding to maintenance needs across the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out basic repairs, maintenance, and DIY tasks

  • Ensuring cleanliness and safety of the school grounds

  • Supporting health & safety compliance

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role or a hands-on maintenance background

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
