ECT of Business Studies – Strong Induction for Vocational/Academic Pathways (KS4/5) – Barking & Dagenham
An Outstanding rated secondary school in Barking & Dagenham is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Business Studies to begin their induction in a supportive Social Sciences department from January 2026.
- ECT of Business Studies required from January 2026.
- Barking & Dagenham-based school (Outer London) with an Outstanding Ofsted rating.
- Seeking an ambitious ECT to teach across KS4/5 (academic and vocational) pathways.
You will teach Business Studies and possibly vocational courses (e.g., BTEC) across KS4/5. Your induction will focus heavily on assessment methodology, curriculum differentiation for mixed-ability groups, and preparing students for the rigors of external examinations and vocational assignments.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by January 2026.
- Relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related vocational field.
- Strong interest in teaching both academic and vocational business qualifications (KS4/5).
- Commitment to completing the ECT Induction with enthusiasm and dedication.
