The Opportunity & School Profile

This Outstanding inner-city academy requires an enthusiastic Mathematics ECT to join its successful faculty. This role is crucial for developing core numerical and problem-solving skills in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

  • Equation Explorer: Instructing Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only.
  • Problem Solver: Driving high attainment by delivering structured lessons and developing foundational analytical skills.
  • Tutoring Guide: Assisting with intervention sessions and contributing to academic support programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Mathematics.
  • Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS), reflecting Inner London weighting.
  • Support: Intensive, bespoke ECT induction and mentoring programme and strong departmental support.
