Art Technician – South London

Contract: Full-time or Part-time, Term-time only
Salary: Dependent on experience

A vibrant secondary school in South London is recruiting an Art Technician to support their highly regarded Art & Design department.

School Description
The school educates around 1,100 students and is well known for its creative ethos, regular exhibitions and strong links with local arts organisations.

Art Department Insight
The department offers Fine Art, Photography and Textiles. Studios contain specialist tools, print facilities and digital resources, and the team regularly showcases student work across the school.

The Role

  • Preparing materials and resources for lessons
  • Maintaining studios, storerooms and equipment
  • Supporting teachers and students during practical work
  • Assisting with displays, exhibitions and events
  • Managing stock and ordering consumables with the Head of Art

Ideal Candidate
Creative, organised and comfortable supporting hands-on artistic processes.
