A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Art ECT to join a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Suffolk. The school is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Art Teacher to begin in January.

This large and well-resourced school places strong emphasis on the creative arts and benefits from a dedicated Art block with multiple studios, high-spec technology, textiles facilities, and a large exhibition space used for showcases and GCSE moderation.

The department is known for its inspirational teaching, high student engagement, and consistently strong results. Students regularly take part in county-wide competitions, partnerships with local galleries, and artist-in-residence programmes.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Art, Fine Art, Design, or related discipline

  • PGCE + QTS (Art & Design)

  • Ability to teach Art to KS3–KS4

  • Enthusiasm for creative pedagogy
