This Outstanding inner-city academy's MFL faculty is highly supportive and successful. The school requires an enthusiastic Spanish ECT to join a team focused on developing core linguistic skills and cultural awareness in younger students. This environment offers intensive, personalized mentoring within a high-achieving, structured inner-city environment.

Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

  • Language Leader: Instructing MFL (Spanish) across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only.
  • Fluency Facilitator: Driving high engagement by delivering immersive lessons focused on communication and core linguistic structures.
  • Cultural Correspondent: Assisting with language exchanges and contributing to after-school MFL enrichment clubs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Spanish.
  • Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS), reflecting Inner London weighting.
  • Support: Intensive, bespoke ECT induction and mentoring programme, generous pension scheme, and strong departmental support.
