School Information

This Outstanding grammar school is renowned for its high academic standards, strong pastoral care, and excellent arts provision. The Art Department benefits from large studio spaces, specialist equipment, and an inspiring culture of creativity.

Role Overview

The Art Technician will provide practical and administrative support to teachers and students, ensuring materials, equipment, and studio spaces are well maintained and ready for lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, equipment, and resources for Art lessons
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of studio spaces
• Support teachers with displays, exhibitions, and coursework preparation
• Order stock, manage inventories, and monitor material usage
• Provide technical support in a range of artistic media

Requirements

• A background in Art or relevant technical experience
• Strong organisational and practical skills
• Creativity and confidence working with different materials
• Ability to support students in a busy department
