IT Technician – Modern and Innovative Academy in Bristol

We are currently recruiting a skilled and customer-focused IT Technician to join a modern, innovative academy in Bristol. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge and a passion for supporting digital learning.

About the School
This Bristol academy is known for its forward-thinking approach, excellent facilities and commitment to digital technology. Staff and students rely heavily on the IT team, and the school fosters an environment where collaboration, problem-solving and ongoing professional development are encouraged.

Role Responsibilities
• Providing first and second-line technical support
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
• Maintaining user accounts, devices and security protocols
• Supporting AV and classroom technologies
• Assisting with upgrades, system maintenance and large-scale IT projects
• Delivering friendly, efficient support to staff and students

Experience and Qualifications
• IT support experience (school experience beneficial but not required)
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, Office 365 and networks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• IT qualifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) desirable

Salary
Paid to local support staff scale depending on experience.
