A thriving primary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a motivated Year 4 Teacher for a full-time role beginning January 2026. This Year 4 Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils' core knowledge, encourage curiosity and promote independence. The school values creative teaching and welcomes a Year 4 Teacher who can bring fresh ideas to the KS2 team.

The Year 4 Teacher appointed will manage assessments, run booster groups and maintain strong routines within the classroom. Located in the heart of Lambeth, the school benefits from excellent local transport links and a warm, diverse community. A full induction will be provided ahead of January 2026, supporting the Year 4 Teacher to settle quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Year 4 lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum approach.
• Assess pupil progress and provide timely feedback to pupils and parents.
• Plan interventions for pupils who need additional support or challenge.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across KS2 and contribute to planning cycles.
• Participate in enrichment and whole-school initiatives.

Person specification

• QTS with strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum.
• Skilled in delivering engaging, well-paced lessons.
• Positive, reflective and committed to pupil wellbeing.
• Able to contribute to team planning and work effectively within Lambeth.
• Available from January 2026.
