A friendly and inclusive mixed 11–18 school in Merton is looking for a committed French ECT to join their Modern Languages Department in January.

School Information

About the MFL Department

The Modern Foreign Languages Department is dynamic and culturally rich. It promotes authentic language use, cultural awareness, and confidence in communication. Teachers incorporate music, film, interactive tools, and real-life contexts into lessons. Trips abroad, language days, and clubs help create a vibrant department culture.

The Role

• Teach French across KS3–KS4
• Contribute to the planning of an engaging and culturally driven curriculum
• Support MFL enrichment activities

Requirements

• ECT specialising in French
• Strong spoken and written fluency
• A passion for languages and intercultural learning
